1. Who we are
My Business Acquisitions is a division of My Best Solutions Limited, registered in England and Wales, Company No. 14243668. My Best Solutions Limited ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and holds ICO registration ZB623638.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry data — name, email, phone, role (seller/buyer/adviser) and any details you submit in our tools or contact forms.
- Transaction data — high-level financials, sector and geography you share when using our valuation, matching, readiness, timeline or comparables tools.
- Usage data — pages visited, referrer, anonymised analytics. Only loaded if you accept analytics cookies.
3. Lawful basis
We rely on (a) your consent when you submit a form or accept cookies, and (b) legitimate interests in operating a confidential M&A marketplace and responding to enquiries.
4. AI processing
Our tools use large language models provided by Anthropic to generate valuations, matches and other outputs. We send only the structured information you submit — never your name, contact details or identifying business details — and Anthropic does not train on this data. AI outputs are indicative only and are reviewed by our team before any introduction.
5. Confidentiality
Seller information is anonymised before any teaser is shared with prospective buyers. Identity is only released once a buyer has signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement and passed our vetting. See our Confidentiality Policy.
6. Retention
Enquiry data is retained for up to 36 months from last contact, then deleted or anonymised. Transaction records are retained for 7 years to meet UK financial and tax obligations.
7. Sharing
We share data with: (i) vetted, NDA-bound prospective counterparties strictly as needed to progress a transaction; (ii) regulated professional advisers acting for you; (iii) cloud infrastructure providers (UK/EEA). We do not sell personal data.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@mybusinessacquisitions.com. You may also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to operate the site. Analytics and marketing cookies only load if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time.
